IGNITING PASSION & PURPOSE IN PEOPLE
I've spent the last 15 years helping purpose-driven c-suite leaders and entrepreneurs make sense of the brands they lead. As EVP of Brand Research, Strategy & Development for idgroup—a change management consultancy and Certified B Corp—I led executive roundtable workshops and retreats focused on helping organizations elevate or sustain their brands by aligning leadership's vision and purpose with the organization's mission and values.
Having worked with over 150 brands across a wide variety of industries, I'm no stranger to creating strategies and communications campaigns that resonate with audiences, elevate awareness and trust, competitively position or reposition, shift perceptions, and strengthen brand reputations.
Over the years—together with the talents of my skilled collaborators—work I've led has been recognized with more than 300+ industry awards like the AAF ADDYs, the TELLYs, AIGA SEED, PRSA Silver Anvil, Webbys, Awwwards, and been featured in publications like Logo Lounge, PRINT Regional Design Annual, and the CA Annual.
Diversity, inclusion and equity are core values that guide me. I volunteer at, contribute to, and advocate for non-profits and initiatives that work to remove barriers for underprivileged, underserved, and underrepresented communities.
In 2017, I helped establish Sunday's Child, a charity that funds $25,000+ grants to non-profits that promote LGBTQ+ acceptance and inclusion. To date, Sunday's Child has awarded nearly $1 million in grants to deserving non-profits.
In 2019, I co-authored a book on organizational branding with my mentor, Dr. Mona Amodeo, detailing our process for creating organizational cultures that engage employees and customers meaningfully and authentically.
While there is no greater reward than helping leaders and organizations develop their strategic branding and communications, my first love will always be creative design and advertising. I often volunteer my time as judge for professional and student leadership awards and competitions including the 59th Annual HATCH Awards, AAF District 3 ADDYs, and AAF Suncoast among others. In 2020, I co-founded and organized Pensacola's first design conference, DesignXL, to promote creative leadership and learning along the Florida panhandle.
Today, I'm focused on helping designers and creatives level-up their abilities, while having some fun in the process.
